Limitations

Uses the current HTS revision only; past or future revisions are not available.
Chapter 99 additional duties (Section 232, Section 301, IEEPA and similar), antidumping and countervailing duties are not included.
Special program rates are shown as text and are not computed.
Rates that are not plain ad valorem, specific or compound are shown as not computed.
Classification is decided by the full HTS text and its notes; the results are candidates to review.
Search uses the schedule's own wording: for example, laptops are "portable automatic data processing machines" and solar panels are "photovoltaic" modules.
